Current and prospective vendors and companies can access the registry by scrolling down and selecting vendor registration. This online registry will display bid packets, information, downloadable documents, and will allow the city’s purchasing department to send notifications via email or text messaging. Vendor Registration Prequalified Vendor/Contractor Information for Northwest NRSA Projects The City of Owensboro is seeking qualified professional contractors to perform various exterior residential home and commercial building repairs in the Northwest NRSA. Work items shall include, but not limited to, roofing, siding, concrete work, asphalt work, landscaping, fence repair and installation, painting, etc. The scope of work for each address shall be determined by the property owner. For Contractors who are interested in submitting price quotes to perform work for the Northwest NRSA, the following general requirements are required: Must have a current business license with the City of Owensboro If you would like to apply for a business license or need to check the status of your current license, please contact the City’s Tax Department at (270) 687-8537. Insurance A Certificate of Insurance providing proof that your business carries General Liability, Auto and Workers Compensation (if applicable) with the following minimum limits: Workers Compensation - Statutory, $1,000,000 (per occurrence)/$2,000,000 (per aggregate) General Liability and $1,000,000 CSL Automobile Liability. Upon the award of a contract, the Contractor would be required to provide an updated Certificate of Liability insurance naming the City of Owensboro as additionally insured with a 30-day cancellation notification. Must be EPA lead-safe certified Go to EPA.gov to become certified or to update your certification. Completed W-9 Form Got to IRS.gov to obtain an IRS W-9 form.
